Do You Need to Be Raised From the Dead?

Florida Man is Raised from the Dead when Doctor Obeys God's Voice to Pray

This miracle of a physical resurrection is one that is repeated over and over each day as people experience the new life - spiritual life that only God is able to accomplish.

What impresses me most about this story is that the doctor heard God tell him He was going to perform a miracle after the doctor himself had given up hope. How many of us have our spirits atuned to what God is saying to us as we go about our daily tasks? We should be. Maybe we'll see more miracles!

David (of Goliath fame) and his Integrity

I just finished reading the story of David and King Saul in the book of I Samuel for the umpteenth time. This time I was really impressed by David's integrity. David had two remarkable opportunities to kill his enemy and pursuer, King Saul. All of David's men said, "Look, God has delivered your enemy into your hands." David could have been swayed by their persuasive words. After all, he had done nothing to provoke King Saul's anger and the king was pursuing him with intent to kill him without cause. But David was a man of integrity. In spite of all the tribulations he was experiencing as a result of King Saul's actions, he refused to raise a hand against the king who was under the Lord's anointing. David had two marvelous opportunities to kill King Saul, but instead he took a piece of his robe the first time and his weapons the second time. And even though he didn't touch the king to harm him, he was still conscience stricken by his actions.

I am reminded of a passage in Psalm 15:4 where the psalmist (David) says in answer to his own question in the first verse, "he who swears to his own hurt and does not change..." This is David's own description of the man who may dwell in the Lord's tabernacle and on His holy hill.

We all have much to learn about this kind of integrity and about how God honors it!

Create Wealth out of Debt

Create wealth out of debt? This sounds like a crazy concept, doesn't it? But it's just a matter of transferring the use of your available resources to create more. It does involve thought and conscious choices but it's something anyone can do without earning any more money than they already earn. We were really upset when we found out about this concept. It's something the banking industry doesn't want the common man to know about - although it has been around for at least 100 years. You can find out more by going here.
